- Keep the tops of your carts clear of snow so carts can be opened easily by collection crews
- Keep snow off of Blue boxes and bags If possible, help collection crews find them in the snow banks
- ensuring the path to your carts and blue box/recycling items to the roadway is clear of snow or ice
